Blog Trainings and e-Democracy Events in April
We are bringing Griff Wigley, blog trainer extraordinaire, to do leadership blog trainings in Brainerd, Bemidji, Grand Rapids and the Iron Range on Thursday April 23 and Friday April 24th. Griff focuses on how community leaders, business people, elected officials and non-profits can use a blog to promote their agenda and/or work in the community.
We need people to help in each community with publicizing and recruiting. so if you want to help let us know. If you have suggestions for people or organizations who should be invited or other ways we can publicize the trainings you can post them in the comments here or by email.
The other training is more a public presentation by e-Democracy founder Steven Clift on how eDemocracy Issue Forums can be used to strengthen communities. Bemidji and Cass Lake/Leech Lake currently have active forums in their community. People in Grand Rapids are working on organizing a forum there. Clift will be speaking at the Grand Rapids Regional Library from 7 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, April 2nd.
