2.      At BemidjiCommunityInternet.org you can find a new article by Barry Babcock called "Living Rhythmically with the Sun" about life off the grid in Beltrami County. 

 

3.      There's a classified ad on the BrainerdCommunityInternet.org for a rummage sale sponsored by Brainerd Area Mother's of Multiples Saturday April 18th at Lord of Life Lutheran church in Baxter from 8am-1pm.

Monday April 6th on Northern Community Internet

At Hibbing Community Internet there is a link to a post on the MinnesotaBrown blog titled, "Dire scenarios discussed for St. Louis County Schools"

At Brainerd Community Internet there is a link to a website called Lakes Area Kids. It lists all the area activities and resources for young children and their families. The Brainerd Lakes Area Early Childhood Coalition and the Pequot Lakes Area Early Childhood Coalition have jointly put up this website for the two communities.

1.      At Grand Rapids Community Internet, there is a link to a news release announcing the Blandin Foundation's $7 million commitment to purchase a forest easement to protect local forestlands from development and preserve them for recreation and commercial forestry.

2.      If you know of a local website, please add it to our list.  Check here for some of the businesses/organizations listed including a new one called Wicker Woman and artists Alice Strand and Vivienne Morgan.
